Silver Pendant, Brooch or Earring Making Workshop
Workshop time: 9.30am - 2.30pm
Select a date from the menu
Explore a variety of jewellery making techniques and use your creative flair to design and make your own unique silver pendant, brooch, and/or pair of earrings.
In small groups of up to six, you will be shown how to add texture to silver sheet using a rolling mill, how to saw shapes and how to dome, drill, solder, circle punch, oxidise and polish your silver to produce high quality jewellery.
This all day workshop is a great place to come and let your creative juices flow, whilst chatting, hammering and playing with metal.
The amount you can make will depend on the simplicity and finish of your chosen designs. If you finish one item quickly (for example a simple pendant, then you can make a pair of earrings or a brooch as well).
Silver is on top of the workshop day price and can range from £8 for a small thin pendant to £50 for a large very thick pair of earrings or pendant - this will be weighed at the end and paid for on the day.
Ideal for beginners
You will need to bring a packed lunch.
Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
